Nashville Makes Top 3!
Even though Nashville is not located on the coast (like the other two top cities), it still made number three in a list of best cities to live! This contest was hosted by Southern Living Magazine for 2020.
It’s easy to see why Nashville made the list. People want history with modern amenities, beautiful skylines, friendly people, lots of green space, and perhaps a touch of water (Nashville is located on the Tennessee River).
Southern Living said, “As the HQ of country music, Nashville has been luring aspiring musicians and honky-tonk revelers for decades. But outside of the boot-scootin’ fun, there’s plenty more city to love. On the food and drink front, Nashville has been busy developing some serious culinary cred, with celebrated Southern chefs from Sean Brock to, most recently, Ford Fry (of Atlanta’s The Optimist) investing in Music City. If sightseeing is more your thing, Nashville’s picturesque parks, and historic homes are perennial favorites.”
Savannah, Georgia came in at number two.
Charleston, South Carolina came in at number one.
